What is Sketchcase?
Sketchcase turns your laptop lid into a chemical and scratch-resistant surface that prevents ghosting and staining from the ink. This allows for easy removal of dry erase, wet erase and even permanent markers. We use a premium vinyl wrap as our base layer for easy installation and clean removability.
Can I use it on top of my laptop case?
For sure! Another benefit having using a case is that you have the option of taking it on and off (takes 2 seconds). This is especially useful for those of you who are not quite ready to give up their stickers.
Wouldn't the ink smudge if I put it in my bag?
Dry erase markers are meant for quick writing or drawing sessions. If you made something you would like to keep, simply take a picture. You can also use wet erase markers, which are markers that are made to be erased with water so that it's more long-lasting than dry erase markers. You also have the option of using permanent markers. We've tested erasing permanent markers with rubbing alcohol after 48 hours and it came off completely without leaving a trace.
When can I expect to receive the package?
After you receive the shipping confirmation email, you can expect to receive the package in
- 2-4 business days for US and Canada
- 6-12 business days for international
But of course, actual delivery times depend on origin, destination, weather conditions and other factors. We had one international customer who received their package after 40 days (25 business days). It's rare but it does happen.
Can I get a tracking number for the package?
All orders except orders from Canada will tracking. Even though we're located in Canada, Canadian tracking parcel is four times more expensive than parcels going to US.
What do I do if the package is late?
If it's been past 14 business days, please contact your local post office and customs agency to see if your package has arrived and you haven't been notified. Often, your post office has the package and wants you to pay the import tariffs before handing over the package.
Can I return or exchange the product?
Unfortunately, each product is produced per order; therefore, we cannot offer an exchange or refund. Besides, paying for shipping both ways from Vancouver, Canada to wherever you are located would be close to the price of the product.
