How to Install a Sketchcase Whiteboard Skin
by Charles HanLet's Turn Your Laptop into a Portable Whiteboard!
This is a step-by-step tutorial on how to apply the new Sketchcase 2.0 to your MacBook. The main difference between the process of applying the first version and the new version is that we can now peel off the whole sticker and align, thanks to the advanced adhesive technology.
Things We need
- Sketchcase Whiteboard Skin
- Cleaning wipe (included with the purchase)
- Plastic card
- Some cloth or paper towel to wrap around the plastic card.
Step 1. Clean
Clean your MacBook surface using the cleaning wipe that's included with the purchase. The cleaner the surface, the better the sticker will stick!
Step 2. Peel and Align
Peel off the Sketchcase Whiteboard Skin and carefully align it to your MacBook. The sticker should slide making it easy to align as long as you don't apply any pressure. Leave around 0.5mm margins.
Step 3. Stick Center to Corners
After making sure that it's aligned, apply pressure following the image above. Put extra care into the center and the corners. We are doing the corners before the side edges to avoid corners from to curling up.
Step 4. Thoroughly Apply the Rest
Thoroughly apply the rest of the sticker following the image above. The goal here is to avoid any air bubbles. Using a plastic card will make the process easier.
